As a SAP PO/BTP at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical integrations between SAP and Legacy systems. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' technical environment to achieve business results.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities
Our SAP Service Line is a dynamic team who engages with clients to bring them deep industry expertise. It helps clients to identify opportunities to use information technology more effectively, generating new intelligence and thereby improving their business performance and creating competitive advantage.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
The role requires the capability to understand clients' IT environment, functional and non-functional requirements related to integration of SAP solution using the SAP PO/BTP integration platform.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- At least 5 years of experience on SAP projects (at least 2 projects in the lead consultant role) focusing on integration of SAP to Legacy systems
- Integration implementation experience including design, build and deployment of interfaces
- Hands on experience in developing custom iFlows using SAP CPI, SAP Cloud Connector and SAP PI/PO will be advantageous with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Exposure to various integration scenarios and experience in working on major adapters including SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, SuccessFactors etc.
- Clarity of security concepts - SSL and PGP encryptions etc.
- Writing of technical specifications for interfaces, deep understanding of integration technology
- Working with the technical users from all regions to define the methods of integration and functional as well non-functional requirements related to integration of SAP to legacy systems
- Fluent CZ/SK and EN languages, German language is an advantage
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing Platforms: Including IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
