At IBM's Client Innovation Centre (CIC) in Halifax Nova Scotia, we combine deep business insights with industry-leading technology to deliver innovation to our clients. We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant with specialized expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes within S/4HANA environments. In this role, you will work with our clients to design, implement, and support SAP Sales and Distribution solutions that drive operational efficiency and business success.

  • Partner with business users to gather, document, and analyze requirements for OTC processes.
  • Configure SAP SD modules to support order management, pricing, billing, and delivery processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OTC with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and WM.
  • Design and deliver functional specifications for interfaces, enhancements, forms, and reports.
  • Coordinate with integration teams.
  • Utilize S/4HANA and Fiori apps to improve user experience and streamline OTC workflows.
  • Conduct system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and support defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address issues.
  • Provide functional support for SAP Retail projects, leveraging industry-specific knowledge.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, ensuring delivered solutions meet business objectives.

Bachelor's Degree

Associate's Degree/College Diploma

Required technical and professional expertise

  • 6-10 years of experience in SAP HANA OTC with strong expertise in SAP OTC configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Proven experience in interfaces, enhancements, forms, and reports specific to the OTC process.
  • Working knowledge of S/4HANA and Fiori apps related to OTC.
  • Experience in integrating OTC with tools such as EDI / GSX / WMI / C4 / WebSphere using SAP IDocs.
  • Strong expertise in IDoc processes and batch job management.
  • Ability to gather requirements, perform analysis, and deliver appropriate functional solutions for business processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business users.
  • Experience in SAP Retail projects and retail domain knowledge (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP and debugging skills (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with SAP AFS / FMS (desirable).
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with coworkers and internal customers.
