SAP Functional Consultant - FICO

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FICO and proven experience in cross-functional integration, specifically between SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP ECC HCM.
The ideal candidate will combine deep SAP Finance expertise, strong knowledge of HCM processes, and experience in large-scale implementations and integrations across multiple SAP modules.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in SAP FICO, including 2+ years in full life-cycle implementation projects.
- At least 5 years of experience on large-scale SAP projects (implementation, deployment, upgrade, or support).
- Proven experience in integrating SAP Finance with SAP HCM.
- Strong understanding of HCM processes and their impact on Finance.
- In-depth knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
- Strong expertise in integration points between SAP modules (MM, SD, PM, EWM, HCM).
- Proficiency in EDI/IDocs, process codes, and partner profiles.
- Accounting background and strong process knowledge preferred.
- SAP Certification is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working in a management consulting environment.
