Sales Enablement Summer Intern

Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Enablement Summer Intern to join our team and contribute to the success of our sales enablement programs. As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to actively participate in various aspects of sales enablement, gaining hands-on experience and making a meaningful impact. This internship will provide exposure to seller research, program evaluation, content creation, executive job shadowing, and social media content creation.

This is a summer internship with a flexible start and end date, typically lasting 12-14 weeks.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Complete research, uncover requirements, and identify new sales enablement opportunities.
  • Assist in developing new seller education materials.
  • Contribute ideas to current projects and participate in meetings.
  • Support problem-solving initiatives and learn about IBM.
  • Engage in the following project areas:
    • Conduct Research: Identify areas of improvement through seller research.
    • Program Evaluation: Collect success metrics, conduct interviews, and spot program gaps.
    • Create Content: Develop engaging content for training platforms (e.g., Seismic, Your Learning); include multimedia or gamification.
    • User Experience: Evaluate sales enablement platforms and recommend UX improvements.
    • Job Shadow: Observe senior enablement leaders, attend meetings, and help write LinkedIn blog content.

Social Media: Create engaging content to showcase company culture and attract talent

Required education

High School Diploma/GED

Preferred education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to:
    • Establish relationships and build trust.
    • Clearly articulate ideas, proposals, and recommendations.
    • Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to provide valuable insights.

Preferred technical and professional experience
