Project Manager - Maximo Implementation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for a client implementation on a transformation project.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead the entire Maximo implementation process from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, quality delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, budgets, and timelines, and manage changes to these elements.
- Oversee the Maximo configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems according to the client's needs.
- Manage project teams, including coordinating with internal departments, external vendors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management regarding project progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure successful user training and change management, facilitating user acceptance testing and go-live support.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and translate them into functional Maximo configurations.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalation plans as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and new features of Maximo software to suggest improvements and enhancements.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) as a Project Manager, preferably in Maximo implementations.
- Extensive knowledge of Maximo Asset Management or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
- Solid understanding of IT project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel as required.
