Principal Product Manager - IBM SevOne

Introduction
IBM is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive our product integration strategy across IBM's observability, network performance, and automation portfolio-including SevOne NPM, Instana and other products . You'll shape the roadmap and deliver seamless, scalable integrations that accelerate time-to-value for enterprise customers navigating increasingly complex environments.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role for a visionary product strategist passionate about observability platforms
Your role and responsibilities
As Principal Product Manager for IBM SevOne, you will:
- Own and execute the integration strategy for the IBM SevOne platform, ensuring consistent, scalable integration patterns across offerings.
- Define and prioritize a product roadmap to accelerate out-of-the-box integrations with key IBM and third-party platforms.
- Lead customer discovery to understand integration pain points and build reusable frameworks, connectors, etc
- Collaborate deeply with engineering, design, sales and customer success teams to deliver intuitive integration workflows and developer experiences while advancing on the usability of the IBM SevOne platform
- Drive metrics for integration adoption, time-to-integration, and ecosystem expansion.
- Support Product marketing and GTM teams with enablement content, reference architectures, and technical documentation.
- Lead Roadmap presentations with customers to explain the value proposition of the Product.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- 5+ Years in Product management, with at least 2 years in a Principal or lead role.
- In lieue of 5 years of experience in Product management, 7+ years in the Observability space is acceptable.
- Deep understanding of Network Monitoring, Observability principles and the observability competitive landscale in general.
- Strong technical aptitude - able to understand architecture trade-offs and communicate effectively with engineers.
- Exceptional collaboration and influence skills across PM, engineering, design, and field teams.
- Experience with enterprise IT ecosystems such as monitoring, automation, or cloud-native infrastructure.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Prior experience with IBM SevOne or competitive observability platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, gNMI, Public Cloud environments( GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Background in building observability platforms from the ground up to taking it to market.
