Practice Director
Introduction
Professionals who perform the Practice Director role are senior managers who provide leadership to the entire support organization and are responsible for all aspects of support delivery for a designated group of products. The role requires a deep understanding of the support operations and delivery model across the support organization, as well as a broad understanding of IBM Support strategies and priorities. The role leverages strong leadership, communication, organization, and critical thinking skills. The Practice Director takes on an active client advocacy role within the support organization. Anticipating client needs and ensuring client success are essential responsibilities. The Practice Director partners and collaborates effectively across a wide range of stake holders in the support life cycle, from Offering Management, Service Planning, Sales, Lab Services, Technical Support, Development, and most importantly our Clients.

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Minimum 7 years Oracle project management experience, with a minimum of 2-3 multi-pillar full-cycle projectsMinimum 3- 5 years consulting experience.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.Knowledge of Standard Waterfall or Agile project implementation methodology.Ability to formulate and communicate a structured approach to the teamsAbility to prioritize and execute tasks and deliverables in high pressure environments and situations.Project Management Certification highly desirable.Day-to-day project management of Oracle Cloud projects. Lead project from concept through completion through the project life cycle while meeting scope, schedule and resource targets while achieving the desired business results.
