Pega Application Developer

Your role and responsibilities

As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Pioneering Mobile Solutions with Latest Technologies: Lead the design and construction of new mobile solutions using the latest technologies, always looking to add business value and meet user requirements.
• Continuous Improvement and Agile Development: Strive for continuous improvements by testing the build solution and working under an agile framework.
• Technology Trends and Creative Solutions: Discover and implement the latest technologies trends to maximize and build creative solutions.

An Application Developer with expertise in Pega is responsible for designing and implementing Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC), Business Applications, and Rules within the BPM Suite. They also integrate the BPM suite with supporting applications and have extensive experience using Pega PRPC and the Pega framework. The developer is proficient in the Pega implementation cycle, including tool installation, business application and rules development, business process modeling, testing, and deployment. They should have a basic understanding of the BPMS methodology and the main features of BPMS workflow capabilities. Additionally, they design and develop complex BPM application interfaces with Mainframe, web, and client server-based legacy systems, utilizing their business and technical knowledge to analyze programs/applications/systems and provide strategic recommendations to management.

Pega Platform Mastery: Extensive experience with the Pega Platform, demonstrating proficiency in Dev Studio, Rule Designer, and Pega Cloud, along with a firm grasp of platform architecture and best practices.

Decisioning & Rules Expertise: Proficient in designing, implementing, and refining complex decision models and rules using Pega's Rules Authoring Tool within Pega CDH.

Pega CDH Comprehension: Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Pega CDH, including features, functionalities, and integrations for data management, real-time decisioning, and omnichannel case management.

API & Integration Skills: Strong experience in integrating Pega systems with other applications via REST/SOAP APIs, with expertise in data mapping and transformation.

Performance Optimization: Demonstrated ability to optimize Pega system performance through rule execution tuning, application server settings adjustment, and database query optimization.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Interface and User Experience Design: Skill in designing user-friendly interfaces and experiences for Pega applications
• Data Management: Strong data management skills, including understanding of data models, data integration, and data quality principles
