As a Partner Technical Specialist (PTS) in our Automation software brand, you will play a key role in supporting our ecosystem partners by providing technical guidance and solution expertise in the Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) portfolio. This includes industry-leading solutions such as IBM Maximo, Envisi, Tririga, and Environmental Intelligence Suite, which enable clients to optimize assets, facilities, and environmental operations.
This is a junior role, but we're looking for candidates who are passionate about technology and have some foundational experience or understanding of enterprise asset management, facilities management, or environmental intelligence platforms. You will have the opportunity to grow with mentoring from senior experts and work across exciting industries and client environments.

Your role and responsibilities
- Support IBM partners with technical expertise on ALM solutions like Maximo, Tririga, Envisi, and Environmental Intelligence.
- Assist in demonstrations, solution positioning, and technical enablement sessions for partners and clients.
- Collaborate with internal IBM teams to align technical guidance with business goals.
- Stay up to date on product features, updates, and industry best practices in asset and facilities management.
- Help respond to technical questions, requests for information (RFIs), and proof of concept activities.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the Automation software brand and its integration across client environments.
- Contribute to building partner capability through training, knowledge sharing, and joint customer engagements.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Technical diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience (or academic exposure) with asset management, facilities management, or geospatial/environmental data tools.
- Familiarity with software such as IBM Maximo, Envisi, Tririga, or similar enterprise applications is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support partners in solution positioning, demos, and enablement sessions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, ecosystem partners, and clients.
- Eagerness to learn and grow technical knowledge in Automation and ALM software.
- Analytical mindset and basic understanding of cloud, integration, and data technologies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Prior exposure to IBM Maximo, Tririga, Envisi, or Environmental Intelligence Suite.
- Understanding of the asset lifecycle - including planning, maintenance, operations, and sustainability reporting.
- Experience in engaging with partners, clients, or users in a pre-sales, support, or training capacity.
- Familiarity with IBM Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift, or similar modern application platforms is a plus.
- Curiosity and drive to explore how technology improves operational efficiency and sustainability outcomes.
