Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

• API Management: Design and implement APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to expose and consume services, ensuring security, scalability, and reusability.

• Data Mapping and Transformation: Define data mappings and transformations to ensure seamless data exchange between different systems and formats.

• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of integration solutions.

• Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy integration solutions to production environments and establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to track performance, identify issues, and ensure high availability.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving integration failures, analyzing error logs, and implementing robust error handling strategies.
• Configuring and maintaining connections to various systems (ERP, HCM, databases), and troubleshooting adapter-related issues.
• Modifying and enhancing existing integration flows, creating new integrations, and optimizing performance.
• Implementing complex data transformations, ensuring data accuracy during integration, and resolving data mapping errors.
• Monitoring scheduled integrations, ensuring timely execution, and resolving schedule-related issues.
• Implementing and maintaining security policies for integrations, and ensuring data security during transit.
• Implementing cloud integration best practices, and ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Setting up monitoring and logging for integrations, and generating reports for analysis.

• Oracle Integration Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud platform, including its features, components, and capabilities for designing, developing, and managing integrations.

• Integration Patterns: Understanding of integration patterns such as point-to-point, publish-subscribe, request-reply, and event-driven architectures, and their application in designing integration solutions.

• API Management Skills: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing APIs using Oracle API Platform Cloud Service or Oracle Integration Cloud API Management.

• Data Integration: Experience with data integration techniques, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data mapping, data synchronization, and data quality assurance.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Groovy for developing custom components, scripts, and extensions within Oracle Integration Cloud.

• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).

• Security and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of security best practices, encryption techniques, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
