Your role and responsibilities

Pre-requisite

10 to 15 Years Relevant Experience in Oracle ,GG and relevant database management.

Should have Managed Service Experience in Banking Environment

Should have Client and Team handling Experience

Ready to support 24x7 environment

Work from Office is mandatory

Job Description

  1. Strong working knowledge of Oracle 19C. Knowledge of 21C will be added advantage.
  2. Perform day-to-day administration of Oracle databases, including backup/recovery, Capacity planning and performance tuning.
  3. Very good knowledge about Oracle Architecture, RAC, High Availability and DR solution and OEM
  4. Configuring High Availability and DR solution with DGMGRL
  5. Upgrading oracle databases to latest versions
  6. Applying latest Fix-Packs as per requirements
  7. Monitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency
  8. Database performance tuning by configuring database parameters.
  9. Monitor the Oracle Alert logs files, transaction logs, archive logs and backup log
  10. Day to day activities like TS, backup, cronjob, OEM alert
  11. Experience with Data-Guard, Cloning, RMAN backups, Golden Gate 19c & 23AI and point in time recovery, ASM
  12. Good To Have MySQL Admin Task expertise .

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Administer Oracle databases (primarily 19c; exposure to 21c is a bonus)
  • Perform day-to-day DBA tasks including user management, tablespace monitoring, backups, and performance analysis
  • Plan and execute upgrades, patch installations, and routine maintenance
  • Design, configure, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery environments using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, DGMGRL, and ASM
  • Monitor alert logs, archive logs, backup logs, and OEM alerts; take corrective actions as needed
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure maximum system reliability and uptime
  • Manage RMAN backups and restore strategies including point-in-time recovery
  • Work with Oracle GoldenGate (19c/23ai) for real-time data replication
  • Clone databases and handle complex data refresh requests
  • Manage cron jobs and automation scripts to streamline regular DBA tasks
  • (Nice to have) Provide basic administration support for MySQL environments
