Your role and responsibilities

This role is part of our Media & Marketing Automation team, which is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media and marketing automation to deliver business requirements and improve the performance of our paid media investment. As an application developer supporting paid media, you will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to drive projects with multiple stakeholders to help support our technical excellence. In this role, you will be able to showcase your technical expertise and ability to use analysis and data to drive decision-making and improve time to market.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Work with media platforms and tools that enable campaigns to go live and monitor campaign performance
  • Manage our Paid Media Creative Assets by transcribing into trafficking systems and ensure assets meet established standards through final QA process
  • Work with IBM and agency technical, privacy, and legal teams to update and enhance our adtech platforms, systems and capabilities
  • Develop enablement for the media channel and relevant processes to other marketing functions, ensuring seamless processes and workflows for campaigns

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Experience with cloud based applications, Python, MongoDB, SQL, and other database or querying skills
  • Basic understanding of cross-channel paid media, including paid search, paid social, and display
  • Experience in project management, including budget management, managing multiple priorities, collaboration, attention to detail, and communication skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Experience in media, digital campaigns, advertising, or at a digital media planning agency
  • Experience working on B2B campaigns
  • Experience with digital channels and media platforms or with digital marketing tools such as ad servers, demand-side platforms, and paid social and audience management platforms
