Your role and responsibilities
As a technical SME leader in IBM Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), you will be required to:
1) Lead to achieve IBM LinuxONE and Linux on z business growth and meet / exceed sales revenue commitments in A/NZ by driving strategic initiatives around hybrid cloud, AI, security, etc.

2) Drive community enablement for LinuxONE and Linux on Z related key products and solutions, including organising and delivering technical workshops and webinars, and marketing community events support as key speakers, etc.
3) Lead to drive key opportunities engagements and closure by working with market team in supporting solution design, demo, pilots, benchmark testing, etc.
4) Provide support to strategic client deployment & adoption to drive client success for key accounts and help to establish reference cases.
5) Help to develop and mentor business partners and new team members.

Required technical and professional expertise
1) Familiar with LinuxONE and Linux on Z technology stack and related solutions, e.g. sustainable and secure hybrid cloud, real-time inferencing with AI Accelerators, Gen AI/LLM, Digital Assets with Hyper Protect services, etc.
2) Deep Hands-on skills are expected for 2 to 3 domains like commercial/open-source databases, IaaS+PaaS solutions with OpenShift Container Platform/Kubernetes/IBM Cloud Infrastructure Center/DPM and extended products/components, Real-Time AI / Gen AI solutions on LinuxONE/LoZ, on-prem Hyper Protect solutions, etc.
3) Deep understanding of consolidation and sustainability plays and ability to demonstrate its value via demos and PoCs.
4) Very good communications and presentation skills, with good skills in articulating and framing for solution design and communication
5) Successful demonstration of leadership in past roles and experience in mentoring and developing team members
6) Open-minded, willingness to take challenges, good teamwork, etc.
