Your role and responsibilities
Lead DevOps Architect Senior Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York, and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):
- Design and implement the best practices in Salesforce development and DevOps process and architecture in the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, driving conversations with customer architects and business stakeholders, armed with best practices for enterprise architecture principles like continuous integration, continuous security, performance, quality, development process, and software development governance.
- Advise and mentor customer teams, which include customer and partner resources in technical and functional Salesforce software delivery aspects.
- Contribute to a program vision while enabling technologies including Copado and Salesforce functionality, through solid DevOps best practices.
- Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, functional and technical solution architecture and design, environment management, testing, and Copado Platform training and competency.
- Lead the creation of technical design documents, which leverage Copado's best practices and integrate Copado into the customer's DevOps ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive to successful resolution.
- Build relationships with business partners, internal and external.
- Review and correct program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable.
- Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners.
- Work on ongoing R&D efforts into tools, processes, and people to further enhance development and DevOps capabilities.
- Help to manage the consistent application of the development and DevOps methodologies among team members.
- Utilize Salesforce, DevOps, Agile Methodologies, Java and .Net Development, Python, Cloud Computing Services.
