Lead Business Intelligence Developer

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

• Dashboard development: Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards using business intelligence (BI) tools. This involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into effective visual layouts.
• Data storytelling: Using data to tell a compelling story, highlighting key insights, and making recommendations based on the visuals. They need to understand the business context to present the data effectively.
• User experience (UX) and design: Applying principles of UX and user interface (UI) design to create intuitive and easy-to-use visualizations. This includes choosing appropriate chart types, color palettes, and layouts to maximize clarity.
• Tool expertise: Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau and Power BI is essential. Good understanding of front-end technologies like D3.js, HTML, and CSS for custom visualizations is an asset
• Lead the team to ensure all the deliverable are on time and with quality without defects.
• Perform peer review and coach the team for delivery success
• Handle escalation and perform root cause analysis for any defect that is identified.
