Introduction

The Project Manager Assistant (PM) is part of the Delivery Excellence Team for Cybersecurity and provides financial management and contract support to the project.

Your role and responsibilities

The Project Manager Assistant (PMA) provides financial management and contract support to the project. This job may also include Project Manager tasks. There may be some customer interface.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review of signed contracts to determine the financial components, including the billing schedule, travel costs and expected gross profit. Requires mapping to work ids established during registration.
  • Establish project control logs, such as the deliverables log, change request log, etc.
  • Report on financial status, schedule and issues to the Project Lead and IBM Management.
  • Perform risk analysis and report risk exposures to the Project Lead.
  • Responsible for contract financial processes such as billing, forecasting, backlog certification, AR review and actions, investigate and resolve customer disputes around invoices.
  • Responsible for contract financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Quote to Cash team on invoicing, accounts receivable, and disputes.
  • Responsible for problem resolution with claim and work item issues
  • Assists with Customer PO funds management and reconciliation
  • Responsible for Vendor PO management and reconciliation
  • Audit processes & procedures in order to find opportunities for improvement and increased efficiencies.
