- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams and product managers to ideate and implement innovative software solutions.
- Full-Stack Development: Engage in full-stack application development using Java EE, Spring framework, Angular, and Maven.
- Application Enhancement: Develop new applications and enhance existing ones by adding new functionalities.
- Technology Migration: Migrate applications to the latest technology versions to ensure optimal performance and security.
- System Optimization: Provide and follow guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scalability.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow best practice development standards to ensure high-quality code and processes.
- Production Support: Offer Level 3 support for production incidents, including analysis, troubleshooting, correction, resolution, mitigation, coordination, and communication.
- Complex Issue Resolution: Collaborate with Software Engineers and system administrators to investigate and resolve complex issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with QA, DevOps, and support teams to coordinate incident response activities and ensure effective problem resolution.
- Root Cause Solutions: Develop and deploy permanent solutions to address the root cause of production incidents, including code changes, configuration updates, or infrastructure modifications.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Extensive experience with Java EE.
- Proficiency in WebSphere Application Server/ Spring Boot/ Liberty MicroProfile.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Angular for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly IBM Cloud.
- Experience with Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
