Your role and responsibilities
Within the Release, Environment Management & IT Tooling Department at IBM CIC Switzerland, our IT Tooling team manages a broad set of tools that enable efficient software delivery - from feature definition to automated deployment, including continuous integration, testing, and performance monitoring.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an IT Tooling Manager who will work under the guidance of the team lead. This role is ideal for a DevOps-minded professional who thrives at the intersection of technology, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration.

As an IT Tooling Manager at IBM, you will:
- Manage application onboarding projects delivered by our offshore team.
- Act as a DevOps evangelist, serving as the main point of contact for IT stakeholders (developers, testers, infrastructure teams) and promoting DevOps frameworks and governance.
- Lead DevOps-related projects to improve delivery and automation practices.
- Contribute to structuring our organization, processes, and governance.
- Provide user support and drive change management initiatives.
- Enhance and evolve our set of tools and processes to meet business needs.
- Manage tools maintenance and handle obsolescence planning.
- Oversee infrastructure and application upgrades for all tools under the IT Tooling team's responsibility.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles.
- Strong knowledge of Jira for project task management.
- Technical background with the ability to dive deep into details while also explaining the big picture clearly and simply.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Jira
- Git
- Ansible Automation Platform
- Azure DevOps Server
- SonarQube
- Personal skills:
- Committed and reliable
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive and eager to improve tools and processes
- Swiss or EU nationality, or valid Swiss permit.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience in working in private bank.
