Internship Program: Global Sales Incentives
Introduction
Global Sales Incentives is a strategic area in IBM and our purpose is to motivate sellers to deliver Business Results supporting IBM strategy. Thru the design of sales incentives roles And we provide a best in class sales incentives client experience leveraging AI, automation and process simplification.
Employees in this role are responsible for designing and executing global sales incentive strategies that align with IBM's Go-to-Market approach. They ensure financial integrity, maintain strong controls, providing an excellent support as trusted business advisors and deliver competitive, motivating plans to drive revenue and business results. The role emphasizes:
- Strategic sales enablement and incentive planning
- End-to-end digitized process execution (sales role, incentives plan letter deployment, commissions, financial reviews, system support for Incentives plan letter and commissions calculation)
- Collaboration with stakeholders as trusted advisors
- Continuous improvement through agility, innovation, and automation
- Fostering a high-performance, diverse culture with growth and recognition opportunities
Your role and responsibilities
The student will be responsible for supporting the Sales team in both strategic and operational activities, working in the following areas:
Incentives Execution: provide direct support to sales managers in tracking and executing incentive programs, ensuring all commission-related processes are carried out accurately and within the established timelines.
Finance: collaborate with Business Units to ensure proper accounting of commission-related expenses, contributing to the accuracy of the area's financial results.
* System Operations (Sys Ops): work closely with the CIO team and analysts to ensure the proper functioning of systems used by the Sales organization, helping identify and resolve potential issues, as well as suggesting improvements when needed.

Availability to intern Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Strong problem-solving skills

Business acumen and interest in understanding the broader impact of activities
Advanced English proficiency
Profile: Incentives Execution
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
Desired knowledge: intermediate/advanced Excel, financial logic, basic knowledge on automation and tools, Artificial intelligence
Profile: Finance
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related areas
Desired knowledge: expense control and analysis, basic accounting principles, advanced Excel, basic knowledge on automation and tools, Artificial intelligence
Profile: System Operations (Sys Ops)
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
Desired knowledge: programming logic, systems analysis, Excel and interest in processes and automation, basic knowledge on automation and tools, Artificial intelligence
Preferred technical and professional experience
