Your role and responsibilities
We are currently recruiting Functional Consultant - Banking and Financial Markets Industry for a 12-month fixed term contract (Full Time), based in Sydney
Functional consultant team is responsible for supporting the full life cycle of Development and enhancements. As a Functional consultant, your responsibilities include -
- Understand business functions implemented by existing system and document requirements which needs to be part of future application in line with Recent trends in Industry
- Defines and describe the Business requirements of the Proposed Integrated system delivered in context of a specific solution and as such it may encompass description of an entire system or only its specific parts.
- Assumes primary responsibly for making decisions around the nature of the Integrated solution.
- Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success
- Assist in creating solutions for client and/or internal review
- Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos
- Work in areas which adhere to state and federal regulatory standards, or where no such standards exist, to nationally accepted guidelines

Required technical and professional expertise
- Minimum 20 years of Experience in area of Banking and Financial Markets
- Should have worked in at least 2 major transformation projects in Banking
- Good knowledge of Trading systems such as Murex, Wallstreet and Trading portals
- Excellent understanding of Forex & Treasury Products and be able to come up with model to measure Credit risk
- Good knowledge on Algorithmics and configuration of Algorithmics to meet APRA guidelines for measuring counterparty Credit risk
- Worked in at least Two projects related to Credit risk implementation
- Experience with relational databases
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Solid skills in SQL
- Abnitio exposure a nice-to-have
