In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

The Identity & Access Management Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining Identity Governance technologies such as Saviynt. This Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation, management, and optimization of the Saviynt Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. They are responsible for integrating and managing complex identity and access policies across multiple systems, promoting security, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Saviynt Configuration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to and configure the Saviynt platform, customizing it to align with the organization's IAM requirements.
  2. Policy Management: Develop, implement, and manage identity and access policies, including role-based access control (RBAC), least privilege principle, and segregation of duties (SoD).
  3. Integration: Work closely with various IT teams to integrate Saviynt with existing systems such as HR systems, Active Directory, cloud services, and other enterprise applications.
  4. Audit and Compliance: Use Saviynt to monitor, report, and audit user access rights and permissions.
  5. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Saviynt. Perform regular system health checks and conduct performance tuning.
  6. Training & Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on Saviynt configurations, processes, and best practices. Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Identity and Access Management. Suggest improvements and enhancements to the Saviynt platform based on the evolving needs of the organization


Required education

High School Diploma/GED

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, preferably with Saviynt or similar IAM tools.
  • Understanding of SaaS technologies and its components.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, Identity Governance, Administration and Provisioning (IGA) models, and access certification processes.
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ServiceNow or similar service management frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • In-depth Saviynt Experience: More than 4 years of hands-on experience with Saviynt, including implementation, customization, integration, and administration.
  • Industry Certifications such as CompTia Sec+, CompTia CySA+, Microsoft Azure Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), or Saviynt's own certifications.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in the context of IAM, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or similar, is a plus but is not required.
