Your role and responsibilities
As the IBM Z WW ISV Market Acceleration Lead in the IBM Z Ecosystem organization, you will spearhead the strategic development and execution of market activation initiatives with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) worldwide. Your mission is to cultivate and expand ISV adoption that drives mutual growth, enhances market presence, and delivers exceptional value to customers. This role demands a leader with a strong understanding of the ISV Ecosystem, adept at orchestrating cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives along with stakeholder, ISV and client satisfaction.

Your role will include leading across functions, including the IBM Z Ecosystem ISV market acceleration, Product Management, IBM Ecosystem, and ISV Acceleration squads, to achieve high impact business outcomes against pre-defined success measures such as: expansion of global ISV adoption, new client references, ISV acts of advocacy, badge attainment, community user group members, ISV / client collateral and videos, ISV and client event engagement, new pipeline opportunities and progression of existing opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive global market activation plans and strategies for ISVs, in partnership with ISV Acceleration and Product Management leads, to achieve IBM Ecosystem objectives and deliver strong business outcomes; help frame market strategies and create clear, compelling, differentiated messaging and value propositions for joint solutions.
- Understand the IBM Z and LinuxONE ecosystem landscape and in partnership with Product Management, create and manage strategic content for ISV campaigns, internal and external communications, and social media to optimize positioning of IBM Z and LinuxONE with ISVs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key ISV partners, fostering collaboration and joint value creation.
- Lead cross-functional squad-including IBM Z Ecosystem ISV Market Aceleration, ISV Acceleration squads, Product Management, and Sales to execute market activation plans effectively.
- Drive strong ISV participation in IBM Z and LinuxONE launches and ongoing drumbeats (e.g. IBM Z Day, IBM TechXchange, THINK, etc.); including the ongoing development and delivery of ISV client references, use cases and solution briefs as success proof points.
- Create an 'easy button' for ISVs to perform advocacy (social kits, blog templates, marketing assets, and collateral).
- Drive ISV and client participation in events; identify new ISV event opportunities delivering business impact. Integrate into event planning activities for key IBM-sponsored industry events through collaboration with IBM Industry marketing teams
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns to recruit and onboard ISVs on IBM Z/LinuxONE with a focus on Data Serving, AI, and IBM Z modernization.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, segment markets, and tailormarket acceleration approaches accordingly.
- Assist in defining OKRs to measure the success of ISV partnerships and market acceleration initiatives, providing regular reports to stakeholders..
- Gain expertise in IBM marketing processes to adhere to requirements spanning IBM's partner program, co-marketing optimization, leads tracking, overall project management, tracking tools, financial approvals, and other marketing areas.
- Leverage and drive best practices; stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously refine market activation strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Gain expertise and comply with all IBM operational processes with regards to engaging with external agencies and managing of funds.

- Over 5-years of experience in an Ecosystem Marketing, Go-To-Market, or Channel Marketing role
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex partner ecosystems on a global scale
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Proven problem solving skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines and time pressure with a sense of urgency to drive successful outcomes
- Proven Program and/or Project Management skills
- Demonstrated effective leadership, teamwork and communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, growth minded, agile and flexible
- Aptitude to learn and apply knowledge quickly
- Flexibility to work in US Eastern time zone
