Introduction

The role of Technology and Content Advocate - IBM TechXchange supports the IBM TechXchange Regional Workshop and Webinars program. This is a worldwide event program that manages events, event listings and process for technical sellers running in-person events for their clients.

Your role and responsibilities

The responsibilitiesinclude:

- creating and coordinating listings for local in-person technical events

- supporting and assisting technical sellers that are running local events

- editing and creating sales-focused materials about the Regional workshop and webinar program

- reviewing data and suggesting new things to try to engage sellers and customers

- collaborating with marketing, technical sales, and the IBM TechXchange team

Required education

Associate's Degree/College Diploma

Preferred education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

At least 1 year of professional experience in one of the following areas: Sales, Digital Strategy, Technical Writing, Marketing, or Technical Support

Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks

Interest in data-driven analytics and resulting actions; a growth mindset

Understanding of the technical practitioner customer journey or understanding of the seller journey

Great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Exposure to managing projects across cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, platform, engineering

Preferred technical and professional experience

Knowledge and experience with HTML and website editing tools

Exposure to Adobe products

Exposure to working in an Agile team

Exposure to coordinating in-person workshops or events
