About IBM Technology Zone:
IBM Technology Zone is the one-stop shop for IBMers and business partners to build, showcase, and share solutions built on IBM technologies-accelerating innovation, opportunity progression, and customer adoption. We are expanding our platform and are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to drive the development and automation of our cloud-native infrastructure and services.
As a Full Stack Engineer on the IBM Technology Zone team, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable services and automation pipelines that power our platform. You'll work on both backend and frontend integration, streamline CI/CD workflows, and ensure systems are performant, secure, and resilient across hybrid cloud environments.

Your role and responsibilities
- Architect, implement, maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Tekton.
- Develop, test, deploy backend services using GoLang and Node.js.
- Collaborate with frontend teams for smooth integration of backend services & APIs.
- Optimize systems performance via regular reviews & improvements.
- Manage version control using Git and GitHub.
- Implement robust security measures per industry standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development methodologies within the team.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Minimum 3 years Full Stack experience, demonstrating frontend/backend expertise.
- Extensive JavaScript, GoLang knowledge; proficient in HTML, CSS, related frameworks (ReactJS, NextJS).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, with a preference for experience with ArgoCD and Tekton
- Familiarity with containerization & orchestration technologies (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Golang, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Agile environment work, applying DevOps practices effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Relevant industry certifications desirable (CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Cloud platform experience (IBM Cloud, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Proficiency in JavaScript libraries and frameworks (ReactJS, Redux, NextJS).
- Knowledge of package managers (NPM, YARN).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools beyond ArgoCD & Tekton (Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Infrastructure monitoring & logging solution experience.
- Proven collaboration, time management, customer relationship skills.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science/IT could be an asset
