In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Leads large SAP HANA implementation programs from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation of SAP HANA solutions that meet business objectives. Responsible for managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Has a strong understanding of SAP HANA products, project management methodologies, and experienced in managing large-scale SAP HANA implementation projects (complex organization structure and/or multiple teams management).

- Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation, and budget management
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP HANA consultants, IT, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify project scope, and define project deliverables
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP HANA solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts

- Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure SAP HANA solutions align with business strategies and objectives

Preferred technical and professional experience

Project Management

  • Planning and execution of complex projects (PMBOK, PMI, PRINCE2);
  • Schedule, scope, budget, and quality management;
  • Project portfolio management.

SAP Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of SAP HANA and its functionalities (data modeling, performance, architecture);
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Fiori;
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Waterfall approaches.

Governance and Quality

  • Quality assurance (QA) and test control (test plans, UAT, etc.);
  • Change and configuration management.

Resource and Budget Management

  • Allocation of technical and functional resources;
  • Cost and contract control and monitoring.

Risk Management

  • Identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks;
  • Management of dependencies and impacts across teams and systems.

Tools and Technologies

  • Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, SAP Solution Manager;
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Budget and scheduling management tools.
