Introduction

IBM South Africa is looking for new Interns interested in acquiring Systems Support Learnership NQF5 fundamental knowledge and skills. Known as the 'knowledge behind the numbers', Financial Analysts are considered to be trusted business advisors, working within IBM's business units and geographies, as well as in a myriad of specialized corporate functions.

Your role and responsibilities

IBM's finance organization is instrumental in driving innovative improvements to global financial processes while providing measurable value to the business.

• Assist with general finance analysis
• Assist with financial non financial reporting
• Develop finance reporting structure
• Assist with measuring and managing enterprise risk

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Bachelor's Degree/Honours Degree in Finance or accounting

General exposure to finance environment (preferable)

Must have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
