Your role and responsibilities
As an IBM Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern, you'll work collaboratively, driving work that has strategic impact. In addition to your work assignments, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. Between project work and intern programming, you'll get to touch a variety of areas within CSR and local geography teams. This is a highly visible intern program with leadership exposure and mentorship throughout the journey.
Intern assignments can span all areas of CSR, including giving & volunteerism, education, sustainability, and more. Some examples of intern projects include:
• Gather and organize impactful stories from IBM volunteers across Latin America to be used in communications, presentations, and awareness campaigns.
• Analyze data from internal volunteering platforms to identify trends, most engaged teams, and regional differences in engagement.
• Assist in coordinating logistics, materials, and volunteer communication ensuring alignment with CSR goals.
• Help monitor donations by IBM in Latin America, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Assist in mapping, organizing, and tracking projects supported by grants across Latin America, ensuring alignment with IBM's strategic goals and providing support in the
execution and follow-up of counterpart actions.
This is a hybrid role, attendance in the office will be required only 3 times per week. We plan to conclude the recruitment process for this role in late April. Please submit your application before that time.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Currently enrolled in a university program
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University.
- Available for a 6-hour role per day for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Passionate about Social Impact or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Creative mindset with experience in campaign development and employee engagement.
- Keen interest in third sector initiatives.
