Your role and responsibilities

The Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Practice Director will oversee client engagements as well as actively participate in large-scale projects, providing high-level business and functional solution direction, focused on optimized user experience to ensure successful solution delivery.

  • Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement.
  • Ensures the successful delivery of quality solutions for Oracle Cloud EPM projects that may include Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Planning (Financial, Workforce, Capex), Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Account Reconciliations, and Narrative Reporting.
  • Responsible for financial and operational expenses and overall financial results of the practice.
  • Demonstrates extremely strong industry and business process knowledge and provide thought leadership for various service/solution offerings.
  • Builds and leverages strong client and partner relationships.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the EPM team, ensuring best practices and procedures, and continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manages multiple Oracle EPM Implementation projects by collaborating with clients and project team members to meet client requirements by following standard practices and procedures.
  • Ensure maximum budget utilization and revenue recognition in all EPM projects.
  • Demonstrates ability to oversee or lead solution design activities.
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills and business process expertise in multiple domains by delivering robust solutions.
  • Effectively influence decisions at the leadership level of customer organizations. Extremely strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence clients and team members.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Minimum 12 years' experience in consulting and delivery
  • Expert knowledge in a variety of Oracle Cloud applications and domains including Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) specifically Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Profitability and Cost Management, Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), and Account Reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets
  • Previous experience in practice management and strategy development
  • Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study is required

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
