Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence

Introduction

Data Scientist & Generative AI Practitioner with expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Skilled in leveraging large-scale datasets and state-of-the-art AI techniques, including transformer-based architectures and large language models (LLMs), to solve complex business problems. Experienced in fine-tuning and deploying generative AI solutions for tasks such as text summarization, content generation, and intelligent automation.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and modeling fuel blending processes using machine learning and optimization techniques. Your key responsibilities will include developing non-linear algorithms to recommend optimal blend compositions, selecting and training AI and machine learning models, and designing simulation tools to evaluate blending strategies under different scenarios.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Experience with machine learning and optimization techniques
* Ability to develop non-linear algorithms for optimization problems
* Knowledge of AI and machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics
* Familiarity with simulation tools and scenario analysis
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with fuel blending processes and industry-specific constraints
* Knowledge of programming languages and software relevant to machine learning and simulation
* Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts
* Experience with cloud-based platforms and big data analytics
