COST ACCOUNTING ANALYST

Introduction

As a Cost Accounting Analyst at IBM, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of our global operations. You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for driving cost efficiency, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
• Implement risk correction strategies to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Develop and present alternative solutions to minimize financial impact on product costs
• Prepare and review manual journal entries with precision and accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial consistency
• Deliver timely and insightful reporting, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit standards

• Solid foundation in General Accounting principles
• Expertise in Cost Methodology and its application in a global business environment

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across international teams
