Our Marketing, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility (MCC) team tells this story and is responsible for positioning IBM in the market. We define and optimize IBM's brand, capture the market's attention, and articulate our point of view for clients, partners, the media, and even other IBMers. Your role and responsibilities

Our Corporate Affairs team drives broad, cross-company reputation and positioning initiatives and brings together complementary functions that shape perceptions of the company and speak to specific audiences: IBMers, top tier reporters, industry analysts, and current or potential clients.

As part of the Corporate Affairs team, our IBMer Communications professionals create experiences that engage IBMers in our company strategy and help them understand how they contribute to our business and clients' success. These professionals partner with business units, geographies and markets to provide employees with the knowledge, information and clear calls to action needed to work effectively and deliver business results, while also building their belief in and advocacy for the IBM brand.

To be successful, you will need to be able to develop strong, audience-centric plans and communications as well as build strong, collaborative relationships across our team, function and company.

We offer a dynamic blend of personal flexibility and a thriving in-office environment. This role requires three days of in-office presence per week, with two days for remote work.

Required technical and professional expertise

• English Fluent
• Deep experience in corporate communications, with a preference of internal and executive communications experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-sufficient with the ability to own a project or large workstream with minimal direction while keeping leadership / key stakeholders updated
• Effective and innovative problem solver who enjoys complex projects that do not always have a clear answer
• Ability to design, create and deploy content that engages, informs and inspires large audiences
• Able to analyze performance data to make informed decisions

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Strong fluency with various tools and approaches to communications-including digital publishing, design, video production, metrics, and email tools
