Cloud / SaaS Product Manager, IBM Db2

Your role and responsibilities
- Optimize user acquisition funnels: Collaborate with marketing and sales to enhance the digital journey from awareness to conversion (e.g., website, trial sign-up, product onboarding).
- Enhance product usability and experience: Champion user-centered design principles to ensure Db2's digital interfaces (e.g., cloud console, tooling, documentation portals) are intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable.
- Drive feature adoption: Design and implement strategies to encourage users to discover and utilize new and existing Db2 features that contribute to growth.
- Personalization: Explore and implement personalized digital experiences to cater to different user segments and their specific Db2 needs.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs): Establish measurable KPIs for digital product initiatives related to Db2 growth (e.g., trial conversions, feature engagement, subscription upgrades).
- Utilize analytics: Leverage data analytics tools to monitor product usage, user behavior, and the effectiveness of digital growth strategies.
- A/B testing: Implement A/B tests to optimize digital experiences and validate hypotheses related to growth.
- Report on progress: Regularly communicate product performance, insights, and the impact of digital initiatives to stakeholders.
- Identify growth opportunities: Continuously seek new digital avenues and technologies to expand Db2's market reach and user base.
- Foster a culture of experimentation: Encourage rapid prototyping and testing of new ideas to accelerate learning and identify effective growth strategies.
- Stay abreast of digital trends: Monitor advancements in digital product management, growth hacking, and data platform technologies.

Required technical and professional expertise
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or a Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience:
- 3-7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on digital products, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Demonstrated experience with growth hacking methodologies and A/B testing to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and referral.
- Experience with database technologies (like Db2) or data platforms is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of driving product growth, user acquisition, and retention through digital strategies.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and technical concepts.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau) and A/B testing platforms.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Business Acumen:
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
- Understanding of business models, pricing strategies, and revenue generation.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for user experience.
- A highly experimental and data-driven approach to product development and optimization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred technical and professional experience
