IBM Technology Expert Labs consultants have the deepest technical expertise and experience in AI application platform technologies, they are experts in advising clients on modernization and optimization of data-driven, secure, integrated platforms for high-performance data processing.
We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Business Process Automation consultant, who'll join our Data Software services organization IBM Expert Labs in the beautiful city of Kraków, Poland. We're looking for a person with a passion to the world of business process management, content management and process mining. As individual contributor this position will work directly with cross functional teams, product management, support and engineering to build and transform business process systems at customers.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Business Process Automation Consultant, you will be working closely with IBM clients and the project team of experts on designing, developing, and implementing business process automation, decision management and content management solutions. You will be working with IBM products such as CloudPak for Business Automation, Business Automation Workflow, FileNet, Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Business Process Automation development - Analyse business processes to identify automation opportunities, develop and test new workflows, improve efficiency.
- Scripting and Coding: Create and maintain automation scripts and code, utilizing tools and programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, SQL and others.
- Prepare the environment - analyze functional and non-functional requirements and prerequisites, prepare and perform the technical installation of contenerized or non-contenerized business process automation environments such as IBM CloudPak for Data or Websphere. Deploy on various platforms like on-prem or in a cloud
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for automation solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and maintenance & operations procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and tailor automation solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technology trends and developments in the field of automation and actively contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Minimum 2-5 years of IT technology solution consulting or relevant industry experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of process automation experience (IBM BAW, Business Process Management BPM, BPEL & BPMN notation, BlueWorks Live, Java and Java EE, Websphere, Camunda) and or Integration calling Web Services (SOAP/HTTP), REST APIs (JSON payloads) and or Case Management or Decision Management (aka Business Rules Management): DMN notation, rule engine concepts, business rules, decision tables, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling, and influential
- B.S. in M.I.S., Business/Communications with a STEM minor, Computer Science, Engineering
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Containerisation and container management platforms (e.g Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift)
- CI/CD processes and pipeline tools for deploying and managing applications.
- Source control management systems (e.g., GitHub)
- Skills in Robotic Process Automation (RPA - Blueprism, UIPath, Automation Anywhere, WDG): attended and unattended bots, process mining (MyInvenio, Celonis, IBM Process Mining), content management and document processing: OCR and extracting data from scanned documents.

- Spanish language level b2 or above
