Introduction
The Business Operations Analyst will be a vital member of the Financial Systems and Solutions team. This role will play a key part in developing, managing, and optimizing the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework using Apptio and related systems to enhance business operations across various cost pools, services, and data architecture.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will support the Apptio tool suite within the broader financial framework, ensuring effective collaboration across departments to improve workflow, system performance, and user satisfaction. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between Central Finance, Administration, IT Services, and business community users, fostering effective communication and cooperation.

You will be responsible for the following:
- Develop technology solutions for business process enhancements.
- Plan and define requirements and objectives in coordination with team members and stakeholders.
- Document end-user requirements and processes for system enhancements and development.
- Execute system test plans to validate performance against requirements.
- Lead segments of larger projects and develop training materials and presentations.
- Gather and translate functional and business requirements from stakeholders into functional hosted solution designs that align with Apptio's capabilities.
- Administer daily management of system production support and handle monthly and annual reporting cycles including solution design, testing, deployment, and training.
- Manage the monthly calendar for Apptio systems, including the forecast opening and closing, supporting monthly and annual financial processes.
- Ensure data integrity, perform monthly data loads, and resolve data mapping and reconciliation issues.
- Collaborate with IT leaders to develop data capabilities and streamline system architecture for optimal functionality of Apptio tools.
- Import, transform, and rationalize data from various systems of record (e.g., SAP, PPM, ServiceNow) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Enhance the Apptio platform through automation, data configuration, and report generation.
