Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders to provide reporting consultation, act as the data SME, develop, own, maintain and execute reports, and build ad-hoc report templates that can be used by the delivery and account teams. This individual will leverage technical knowledge of Excel, VBA macros, relational database concepts, and use the ATS system's analytic tools to build report templates that can be accessed and viewed by the delivery and account teams. The person in this role will have technical or database development background, experience in analyzing recruitment operations, process and technology and a flexible approach to handling a dynamic work environment and projects. The person in this position will be data driven, a self-starter, and highly motivated to go beyond what is asked.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to gather and understand reporting and data requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment of reporting solutions with business goals.

Reporting & Data Management:

  • Design and implement efficient, repeatable processes for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and other reporting tools that are intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc reporting requests with accurate and timely data.
  • Responsible for delivering SLA based on contractual obligation
  • Responsible to manage other analyst and continue to develop insightful data and continuous improvement

Data Analysis & Insights:

  • Analyze data trends, forecasts, and performance metrics to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to support strategic planning and operational improvements.

Documentation & Process Improvement:

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of reporting processes and data workflows (e.g., Desktop Procedures - DTPs).
  • Continuously evaluate and improve reporting methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Communicate complex data concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Administrative Support:

Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support reporting operations and team objectives

Required technical and professional expertise

  • At least 3 years working experience with MS Office Suite with emphasis on advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, pivot charts, IF THEN logic, conditional formulas, manipulation and formatting of data
  • At least 1 year of relational database development or administration experience
  • At least 1 year of SQL or similar query language experience
  • At least 1 year of Visual Basic or similar coding experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10% travel annually
  • Fluency in English

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • At least 1 years' experience of the business development process, which includes financial, industry insights and consultative selling skills that can be applied to opportunities across the business unit
  • At least 2 years experience in recruitment
  • At least 1 year experience with an ATS (Applicant Tracking Service
