Introduction
As a Benefits Professional you will be responsible for all operational and delivery aspects and overall integrity of IBM's global benefits programs including managing the operational aspects of our vendor/supplier relationships also with regards to quality and service delivery. You will work closely together with Benefits Manager, other Benefits Professionals as well as with other IBM functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, employee communications and financial reporting related to the benefits programs. 
Key responsibilities -
- Manage employee benefit transactions in SuccessFactors (SF) and through other HR tools and email channels.
 - Coordinate with vendors who administer benefit programs to ensure smooth operations, resolve queries, and handle escalations promptly.
 - Maintain accurate benefit data through Excel-based reconciliations and other manual verification and validation processes.
 - Support ongoing benefit lifecycle activities, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
 - Monitor vendor service performance and partner closely with them on issue resolution and continuous process improvement.
 - Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance requirements, and established turnaround times.
 - Provide responsive and high-quality support to employees on benefit-related matters.
 
Your role and responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end of the Health & welfare, Non-Health , Leave and Retiral Benefit programs
 - Administrative work related to execution of benefit programs(insurances ,company leased car, creche, meal card, wellness etc) , oversight of retiral plans and leave program, maintain policy & process documentation, trackers for benefit reconciliation and validationetc
 - Vendor management skills -- oversee vendor's performance and work with broker on performing vendor SLA assessment including validation of SLA artefacts, handle day to day management of operational issues with the vendor/broker, perform employee reconciliation and validation of the vendor payments and invoices.
 - Program management skills -- responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of new and existing benefit programs. Will take ownership of process re-engineering, process simplification, SOX testing simplification, work with the KL testing team to complete quarterly SOX testing requirements, provide inputs to MSA rating of the program, pro-actively assess risk areas in the process and take necessary action to address the risks, lead peer reviews when necessary.
 - Customer and stakeholder management skills -- knows how to respond to customer concerns appropriately (handle with speed, accuracy and timeliness) especially when the issue has turned in to escalation. Knowledge on how to handle execs is needed for this role.
 - Incident handling / Crisis Management skills -- has experience with managing through a crisis, someone who can think fast and make the right decisions under pressure and one who is resourceful enough to avert the crisis ASAP. Knowledge on how to work with different organizations across varying cultures is needed.
 - Data management & audit compliance - Responsible for managing benefits programs data efficiently to ensure overall audit compliance posture
 - Escalation resolution - Ability to manage complex escalations within the policy frame work and support timely resolutions while managing volumes.
 - Other ad hoc tasks assigned such as UAT testing for system & process enhancement, key controls testing, provide supports if there is an internal / external audit or process review

Required technical and professional expertise
- 3 to 5 years of HR delivery operational experience
 - Excellent communication & co-ordination skills for effective vendor and stakeholder management.
 - Experience of working in SuccessFactors , Workday, SAP HRMS or similar HR systems.
 - Strong Excel skills for data management skills with keen eye to details
 - Proficient data analytical and presentation skills for management review
 
Preferred technical and professional experience
MBA with Benefits operations work experience
