Your role and responsibilities

Application Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):

  • Responsible for solution design, development, data migration, integration, configuration, deployment and support of Maximo.
  • Perform coding, configuration, monitoring, support for Enterprise and Fleet instance of Maximo version 7.6 using automation scripts.
  • Serve as migration manager and support platform configuration functions.
  • Provide IBM WebSphere support for Enterprise and Fleet instances of Maximo application.
  • Design workflows based on business process requirements.
  • Develop new Jenkins Pipeline and maintain existing Maximo Deployments using Automic tool for outage releases.
  • Perform Source Code Repository (Bit-Bucket) maintenance and DevOps activities.
  • Develop Linux/Unix Shell script for application monitoring, health-checks, ETL Jobs and DynaTrace Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Develop and manage BIRT reports (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools).
  • Develop new and maintain existing automation scripts in Maximo for business requirements and processes.
  • Develop new and maintain existing integrations.
  • Support deployments, testing and Maximo 7.6 fix packs and feature packs.
  • Support disaster recovery activities performed in the Maximo space.
  • Conduct design workshops and sessions.
  • Develop integration strategies, translate integrations, and map them using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
  • Review designs, codes, test plans and documentation to ensure quality.
  • Perform de-customization of current application using Python/Jython automation script by converting existing Java customizations.
  • Support Sprint and DevOps activities.
  • Utilize: Maximo 7.5/7.6; Automation scripting using Java Script and Python; Webservices (SOAP), JSON Rest API, Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), XML (Extensible Markup Language), Java Customization, Python, Git, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence; Linux/Unix Scripting.
