Your role and responsibilities
Application Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted)
- Review and validate the Bill of Materials assess client's requirements, and product's specifications/features.
- Create the necessary artifacts (roadmaps, design documents, diagrams, build book, etc.).
- Design and implement the infrastructure to support the solution.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather business and technical requirements.
- Manage and balance concurrent projects across various customers.
- Ensure the successful delivery of complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to clients.
- Develop perspectives, capture, prioritize, and analyze technical (functional and non-functional) requirements.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and advance the technical evolution of intellectual capital assets, developing architectural resources.
- Manage architectural contract terms and conditions.
- Educate, mentor, and coach teams in applying architectural techniques and updating methodologies and assets.
- Facilitate and capture lessons learned from projects to disseminate knowledge.
- Support company initiatives for offerings, contracts, technologies, and go-to-market strategies.
- Set priorities to build technical architectural and project assets/deliverables for repurposing.
- Analyze, design, test, and modify application software for enhanced functionality and productivity.
- Utilize: Microsoft .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Angular, Oracle T-SQL, Pro Pdf, Pro Concatenator and Agile Scrum.
