Introduction

IBM's MAS is a unified asset-management solution built on Maximo Manage v8+, integrating AI, IoT, predictive analytics, and mobile-first tools under one suite. It supports hybrid cloud deployment via IBM Cloud Pak on Kubernetes/OpenShift, offering microservices, orchestration, and enterprise-grade observability.

Your role and responsibilities

Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS)-including core, Manage, Mobile, Monitor, Predict, Health, and Assist modules-on enterprise-grade platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes, IBM Cloud Pak, or equivalent. Provide end-to-end delivery: planning, deployment, integration, support, and documentation.

• Installation & Configuration: Deploy and configure MAS components for on-premise or cloud-native environments.
• Platform Management: Set up MAS on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Integration & Authentication: Integrate MAS with LDAP/SSO, ERP systems, and IoT feeds.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Maintain lifecycle using DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitOps.
• Monitoring & Performance: Implement observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide support and documentation, manage upgrades and recovery.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful MAS platform delivery

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• 2+ years implementing MAS (v8.x) in containerized/cloud-native environments.
• Expertise with OpenShift/Kubernetes, RHEL, and scripting (bash, Python).
• Experience with Db2/Oracle and enterprise backup/recovery processes.
• Integration knowledge using MAS APIs and Maximo Interaction Framework.
• Understanding of IBM Cloud Pak and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with mobile frameworks, BIRT/Cognos, Java/REST.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• IBM Certified Administrator - Maximo Manage/MAS 8.x
• Red Hat or OpenShift certification
• Experience with IBM Cloud Pak and MAS AI modules
• IoT analytics and AI/ML knowledge in MAS context
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field
• 4+ years in IT with 3+ years delivering MAS (core & platform-centric roles)
• Proven experience in full software lifecycle and enterprise-level problem resolution
