Leads and oversees IT Administrators across multiple HumanGood communities, ensuring consistent technical support for both staff and residents. Manages service level agreements (SLAs), implements IT service management strategies, and maintains high-quality support standards. Partners with Executive Directors and other community leaders to align IT services with community needs and strategic objectives. Directly supervises hardware, software, and network troubleshooting while providing escalation support. Serves as backup coverage for IT Administrator roles during absences. Responsible for developing best practices, coordinating cross-location IT initiatives, and optimizing technical resources to enhance resident care and staff productivity.

In this position you would do the following:
Manage and Supervise (~60%): Supervisors, coordinates, and reviews the activities of IT Administrators at assigned communities. Provides directions and decisions on equipment needs as per the standards and policies of IT. Manages activities around planning, installation, and maintaining community support systems and applications. Monitors the overall Remedyforce queue(s) for their communities and the workload of the administrators. Responsible for meeting SLAs times in support of the ITSM program. Will recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Onsite Support (~40%): Work from the communities on a regular basis for which the supervisor has responsibility in order to develop relationships with community leadership and other major stakeholders. Understands the community’s technology topology and environment. Provide floating onsite support for projects and augment community support for both Life Plan Communities and Affordable Housing. 24x7 on call responsibilities: Major Incident Management On-Call responsibilities for after-hours IT critical issues on rotating basis. Work on-site when local IT Admin is out for unplanned/planned events.
To be successful in this role, you would have:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT field support
- Supervisory experience required
- A degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience (preferred)
- Initiative in keeping up on current technology by completing certifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling to communities
- Ability to travel as needed to assigned communities in the assigned region (greater Bay Area)

Compensation: $100,000-110,000 depending on experience
Location: based in the greater San Francisco area; this position is hybrid; amount of travel to support communities varies on business need. Communities are mainly based in the San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland metro areas. Residing within this region and being within reasonable driving distance of supported communities is required.
