Under general supervision, the IT Administrator provides hands-on and remote technology support to end users (Team members) at their assigned communities and to remote team members in the enterprise. S/he fields trouble tickets from the helpdesk system and resolves staff issues in a timely manner. Responsibilities include standard break/fix, problem diagnosis and resolution, PC and peripheral hardware and software upgrades. The incumbent provides support for community communication, life-safety, and security systems. As a representative and team member of HumanGood, the incumbent is expected to maintain professional appearance and conduct to ensure customer satisfaction. Interpersonal skills are key as customer service is paramount for this position to succeed. This position is hybrid with travel requirements up to 30% for onsite support needs.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide technological support to team members and other stakeholders within the enterprise, for both on-site and remote assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve various IT-related issues, ensuring efficient troubleshooting.
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades for PCs and peripherals.
  • Address helpdesk tickets, resolving issues for local and remote staff, or escalate to the appropriate Subject Matter Expert.
  • Support the desktop phone environment under the guidance of the infrastructure team.
  • Offer support for mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets, ensuring effective mobile computing experiences.
  • Remotely assist facilitating conference and collaboration tools, including voice, video, and desktop sharing technologies.
  • Provide remote technical support for video and access control security systems.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on endpoints, infrastructure systems, and other technological devices.
  • Handle confidential information with utmost sensitivity and discretion.
  • Deliver exceptional and courteous service.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and adhere to company policies and practices regarding the handling of resident-identifiable health information.
  • Travel to affordable housing locations on the west coast to provide targeted support as needed while providing a clean and organized computing environment for end users.
  • Perform additional duties and functions as assigned, adapting to evolving needs within the role.

 

To be successful in this role, you would have: 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ equivalent work experience
  • Prefer college degree in the field of computer science or specialized formal technology training

Compensation:  $32-38/hr depending on experience and location 

Location: this position is hybrid, requiring approximately 30% travel to Affordable Housing communities, and the remainder working from home.  This position is West coast based; candidates must be located in a state in which HumanGood operates to be considered.  Proximity to Duarte or Pleasanton is preferred.
