We're looking for an experienced and visionary design leader to shape the future of HubSpot's Growth Platform experiences. This role is a critical UX leadership position responsible for driving the strategy and execution of how customers onboard, engage with and grow with HubSpot. You'll lead and scale a team of designers and researchers focused on building powerful, flexible platform experiences that support product-led growth (PLG) at scale.

This is a rare opportunity to lead design in a highly visible part of HubSpot's UX organization and help define how PLG is expressed through the product across the customer lifecycle.
You'll be responsible for:
  • Setting the design strategy for HubSpot's platform experiences including onboarding and account configuration, notifications and ongoing engagement, trials, and upgrades.
  • Leading UX for key product-led growth (PLG) systems including activation journeys, conversion points, product education, and pricing experiences.
  • Building a cohesive platform design narrative that connects core product foundations with the onboarding and upgrade experience.
  • Collaborating closely with UX, PM, and Engineering leaders across Platform, Growth, and Core Hubs to scale a unified customer experience.
  • Coaching and developing a strong team of ICs and managers while fostering a high-performance, craft-focused design culture.
  • Advocating for quality and consistency across the experience by leveraging and evolving Trellis, our design system, and Skymap, our product architecture framework.

  • A UX leader with a strong point of view on quality and the ability to inspire teams to achieve it.
  • Experience building and scaling platform and PLG design systems in complex, multi-surface environments.
  • A design-first mindset grounded in deep collaboration with engineers and product managers.
  • The ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams and foster growth in both ICs and managers.
  • Strong judgment in how to balance near-term impact with long-term product health.
  • A record of delivering elegant, system-oriented design work that drives both customer success and business outcomes.
  • A strong storyteller who can influence at the executive level and build alignment across teams.

Cash compensation range: 280,000 - 448,000 USD USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
