About the Role

Service Hub is purpose-built to deliver remarkable customer experiences at scale - and Omnichannel communication is at the heart of that mission. As the Design Manager for the Omnichannel product group, you'll be leading a design team focused on building intuitive, high-impact 1:1 communication tools that are foundational to every sales and support team's success.

This is a platform-facing leadership role: you'll help build the connective tissue that enables seamless, contextual experiences for every HubSpot customer - regardless of channel or business size. Our Omnichannel platform empowers front-line teams to meet customers where they are (phone, email, SMS, and more), preserves full context across touchpoints, and ensures conversations are easy to manage at scale.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Set vision & strategy for the Omnichannel experiences that power 1:1 customer interactions.
  • Empower your team by setting clear expectations, fostering autonomy, and championing a culture of growth, feedback, and high design standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across product lines to ensure communication tools are flexible for diverse customer needs - from SMBs to global enterprises.
  • Inspire and coach a team of talented designers - helping them grow their impact through thoughtful critique, regular feedback, and authentic care.
  • Drive cross-functional impact by working closely with product management, engineering, and other design teams to shape priorities, align on vision, and ship high-quality products.
  • Build for scale by ensuring your team's design systems, workflows, and tooling support the pace and reach of HubSpot's growth and platform ambition.
  • Champion craft and usability by holding your team accountable to HubSpot's high standards for craft, consistency and cohesion across channels.
  • You're not shy about digging into the work, but know how to give your designers space to own their ideas and solutions.
We're looking for people who:
  • Have experience leading design teams for business communication, collaboration or task management platform tools.
  • Demonstrate a track record for building products in a platform environment- supporting multiple user types, business models, or regions.
  • Thrive in cross-functional, highly collaborative environments; have a proven ability to bring stakeholders together to deliver high-impact work.
  • Are passionate coaches and mentors who help their reports do their best work, hold them to high standards, and celebrate their growth.
  • Balance vision and pragmatism, inspiring others while caring about delivering value iteratively.
  • Model HubSpot's culture of autonomy and flexibility, while being deeply invested in product excellence and business outcomes.
  • Value continuous improvement and reflection, and are eager to learn and grow.
Why HubSpot?
  • Make a global impact: HubSpot's Omnichannel tools help millions of businesses build deeper relationships with their customers.
  • Be part of a truly hybrid team: We embrace flexibility, asynchronous work, and diverse perspectives.
  • Grow your craft and leadership: Coach at scale, learn from smart and caring peers, and help shape a category-leading platform.
