What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create and maintain financial models and reports while providing critical support to business partners across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will oversee the business planning and financial analysis process, including establishing timelines, creating budgets, performing variance analyses, and presenting findings to key business partners and leadership.

Day to day, you'll...

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and budgets.
  • Conduct financial analysis projects related to business performance, operational trends, and labor management.
  • Analyze data to identify historical trends.
  • Perform variance analysis and present findings to leadership team.
  • Conduct complex spreadsheet analysis and prepare various reports utilizing financial database systems.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage spend and review variances.
  • Develop daily and weekly reporting for business partners.
  • Perform Ad Hoc project work as needed.

What you'll bring to the team...

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of three years experience performing financial analysis of business or business divisions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify underlying causes of financial or accounting issues and recommend appropriate corrective action.

It would be even better if you also had...

  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst, or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
