ABOUT THE ROLE
The IT Security Engineer, reporting to the Director of IT Security, is responsible for safeguarding HHH's on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This role includes daily system monitoring, audit log management, enhancing incident response capabilities, collaborating on system upgrades, and proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.
This position is located at our Corporate Office in The Woodlands, TX and onsite presence is required.

Skills & Experience
- Either a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in a dedicated IT Security or Cybersecurity role.
- CISSP, CEH, ECIH, CySA+, Security+, SecurityX, CISM or GCIH certifications strongly preferred.
- Ability to create, modify, and maintain business reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with, and eagerness to explore and integrate, emerging technologies (e.g. AI and blockchain etc.) to drive innovation and continuous learning.
