WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Transport Operations Lead, you are responsible for the Transport Operations and related performance, vendor relationship and transport service roll-out of defined area/cluster in the Logistics Region. You ensure actions to balance cost, service levels and sustainability impact to excel in operational excellence and customer value with consideration to end-to-end flows.

  • Responsible for Transport Operations and related performance KPIs of defined cluster/area in the Logistic Region.
  • Manage Transport provider vendor relationship and secure frequent follow-up with Transport providers on operational KPIs and status, highlighting trends, problems, opportunities and status of agreed targets and SLAs.
  • Responsible to functionally lead local Transport Teams and ensure support and alignment on transport related decisions, operational status, challenges and opportunities.
  • Continuously strive to improve Transport operational excellence to secure stable transport operations within defined global operational and tech standards, balancing cost, service levels and sustainability impact with consideration to end-to-end flows.
  • Responsible for proactive transport capacity planning and peak event planning to meet forecasts, including transport related business continuity planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Transport & Trade Commercial in procurement topics such as clarify Transport Procurements needs, participate in RFP response evaluation, vendor selection decisions etc.
  • Collaborate with Transport & Trade Commercial in Contract and Vendor Management topics such as commercial disputes, tactical/strategic vendor management meetings and contractual SLA compliance, etc.
  • Lead implementation of new transport providers and services together with Central Transport Development and Local Transport teams.
  • Support in implementation of new transport capabilities from a regional perspective together with Central Transport.
  • Actively stay up-to-date on global logistics end-to-end operational status, KPIs, issues and risks
  • Identify sustainability opportunities and challenges from a social, economic and environmental perspective.

  • Solid understanding of specifics and capabilities in regional transport operations to serve Brand needs.
  • Experience in Transport related Vendor Management and developing operational performance and cost improvements through suppliers.
  • Good ability to plan, prioritize and delegate high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance.
  • Great ability to take proactive actions and drive performance, consistently producing tangible results.
  • Good understanding of business needs for both retail and online businesses.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset, including ability to plan, prioritize and manage high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, self-driven and proactive with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent proven communication skills and the ability to build credibility and trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Latin American transport networks
  • Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered an asset

Compensation: salary range is $98,957 - $111,326 annually
