We are seeking a Trade Compliance Representative to Components that is a key business unit within Hitachi Energy, based in Ludvika, Sweden. We develop, sell and produces Bushings and Tap-Changers, both vital for all Power Transformers. We are part of delivering a safe way of transferring electricity while keeping losses at a minimum. We are proud of our product portfolio, our global customer base as well as our modern production unit.

• Ensure that all business transactions (selling and sourcing, direct or indirect business, binding offers, imports, exports, transit trade, of goods, services, software, documents, samples, marketing materials and technology) are carried out in accordance with Corporate Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, processes and guidelines.
• Long-term Supplier declarations - Collaborate together with our external suppliers to ensure that long-term supplier declarations are available for required article numbers. Collect, compile, follow up and update.
• Export calculations - Perform calculations to ensure compliance with preferential origin.
• Harmonization System Codes (Tariff code) - Ensure correctness of the HS classifications of all items, products and parts with support from technical experts and Trade Compliance Officers.
• Country of origin - Ensure that all purchased items in our business systems have the correct country of origin.
• Forwarders - Main point of contact towards forwarders for customs purposes (import and export).
• Create and develop efficient processes for this role

• You hold a degree and/or relevant work experience within the field of logistics, customs, forwarding, purchasing or sales
• Strong knowledge of the Swedish Free Trade Agreements is meriting
• You are driven, innovative, well organized and know how to prioritize your daily work.
• Strong communication skills in English & Swedish, both written and verbally
• Comfortable in making decisions and ensuring requirements for customs & trade compliance are being followed within the business unit on different levels
• Experience from relevant IT systems and tools
