The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is the world leader in Power Quality Solution - PQS (former- FACTS) (Flexible AC Transmission System) technology and offers a full PQS portfolio with in-house manufacturing of key components. Hitachi Energy was the first to introduce PQS to the power industry and has delivered PQS equipment for more than 50 years. Today Hitachi Energy is the recognized world leader with more than 50 percent of the global market share and more than 700+ installed bases.
Hitachi Energy PQS uses a state of art Modelling Tool and other in-house Engineering Tools in PQS Electromechanical design. The PQS Electromechanical Design (EM) Team is responsible for the design of the PQS Plant and the preparation of PQS Installation Drawings & Documents by developing a 3D Model in Revit.
How you'll make an impact:
- Supplier identification: Identifies new suppliers in Europe in cooperation with relevant category team
- Low Cost country supplier: Identify additional reliable suppliers from Low Countries in Asia to provide an alternative to SCM
- RFI process (template to be provided by SCM) to gather suppliers information and analyses supplier competences
- Update Supplier Base in SCM Templates and Sharepoint (Templates and Sharepoint access to be provided by SCM)
- Data analysis: Gathers and interprets relevant data (cost, quality, demand patterns, etc.) and provides analytical support
- Reporting: Develops and communicates periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
- Supplier identification: Identifies new suppliers in Europe in cooperation with relevant category team
- Low Cost country supplier: Identify additional reliable suppliers from Low Countries in Asia to provide an alternative to SCM
- RFI process (template to be provided by SCM) to gather suppliers information and analyses supplier competences

- Data analysis: Gathers and interprets relevant data (cost, quality, demand patterns, etc.) and provides analytical support
- Reporting: Develops and communicates periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
- As per SCM request, manage the RFP process through e-action.
- Shall have expertise on managing e-auction tools and process.

Your Background:
- Should have education BE in Electrical Engineering
- Should have 4 - 7 Years Experience in SCM.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
