The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader that is advancing a sustainable energy future for all. We are looking for Temporary Project Finance controller who will advise and support the share-function business in areas related to future state financial performance.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will be responsible for financial reporting tasks for the company Sales org., report for 4 local product group units (LPGs) from SAP (preliminary) & Abacus data (final reports) are each checked and verified timely for reporting timetables by the Group, monthly Forecasts/Estimate and Ad hoc requests for data from country & HUB managers are prepared and submitted on time on all mandatory KPI for 4 PGs: (Orders Received, Revenue, EBITA, OCF, Headcount; Overdue; Others).
- You will be involved in customer controlling like overdue customers are reviewed and report on monthly basis, annual credit assessments for ALL local customers, review the financial healthiness & unsecured credit limit of key customers, procedure controlling, drive compliance to local/regional/Group Tables of Authorities/policy and procedure for the sale organization, cost controlling, maintain easily accessible functional cost reports for the LPGs for monthly/ad hoc review by LPGs, HUBs (Regional Management Organizations), Country, other stakeholders.
- You will involve in Monthly/Quarterly reviews of cost centers against budgets (if any) and or latest estimate, analysis and compare forecasts with actuals in monthly review of KPIs for improvement of quality and encourage the usage of Group applications and Tools including: SFDC, ATLAS, SAP, RR, Analyzer for supporting sales team, financial reporting and management purposes.
- You will support SFDC updates for front end data alignment between Full Cost Model & Sales Order, and Atlas and Abacus on demand orders, support Annual Budget preparation when required, support with review of FCMs & contracts before submission to LSM/Controller for signing off, actively support other Group companies and related stakeholders for tendering & execution of projects, provide commercial/financial advice.
- You will contribute on financial and commercial aspects of contractual documents, e.g. LC, Bank Guarantee, Bonds & LC, provide ad hoc advice to other Project Managers/sales team regarding processes, payment term, contracts, documentation, support execution, annual asset counts, participate in keeping shared PG sales reports/documents in both shared folder database, keep all original FCM & Contracts and scan in proper shared locations for future auditing.
- You will prepare supporting docs and sign off to GCRM (internal control) for 4 LPGs quarterly or ad-hoc case, provide documentation for external audit annually and explain the process. (EY/KPMG/Tax authority), communicate new updates from Reiwa team to users and support users to fix issue case if any.

Your background:
- You hold a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Auditing, or similar field.
- More than 3 years of experience in accounting and/or controlling.
- Knowledge of ERP, IFRS, Internal audit is an advantage, Master of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point), strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- Time management skill to accommodate with tight deadlines, in particular during monthly/quarterly/yearly closing time. Ability to work in team with co-operative spirit.
- Fluency in English (speaking, listening and writing).
