Team Manager - Primary Engineer (PQS)

We create detailed drawings and documentation for PQS (Power Quality Solutions) projects across the globe. • Ensures project and tenders are delivered by the team having right competence and experience and taking responsibility for engineering work and deliverables.
• Responsible for individual development, necessary improvements of our processes, our technology, and tools.
• Strengthens team spirit with confidence, trust, and take responsibility by supporting and encouraging each other and welcoming new members to the team.
• Demonstrate high level of autonomy and leadership which follows HITACHI values and Code of Conduct.
• Aligning to the organization vision and mission to drive the team towards strategic goals.
• Play a crucial role in coaching, mentoring, recruiting, and guiding the PQS Electromechanical team in view of strategic goals.
• Help building a strong team and a source, ensuring that the meets the required standards for deliverables.
• Equipped with advanced critical thinking skills to analyze issues as people manager, developing solutions, and implement them effectively.
• Driving the success of the organization by ensuring the quality of work produced by the team.
• Ensure that the team's performance is in line with exceeds the KPIs , Quality, Productivity and Efficiency.
• Drive improvement initiatives to help modularization and standardization of engineering solutions.
• Maintain a balance of right competence and experienced resources in the team with the help of proactive-taking and timely elevations, up-skilling and re-skilling plans for resources.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical / civil engineering knowledge for detail design of electrical substation.
• Knowledge & Experience REVIT or 3D CAD tool. Proven record of of team of of engineers dedicated to delivering Safe and Quality solutions in Power System projects.
• Passionate about working with the Power Quality Solutions team of Electromechanical engineers.
• Strong interpersonal skills act as leader manager and flexible to adopt changes and align with the organization strategy.
• Experience Basic & Detailed Design Engineering with EPC, Consultancy Design Environment.
• Project / Tender BOQ Estimation & Costing and Budget Control by Design Optimization.
• Inter-departmental Interface Engineering Co-ordination and Project Co-Ordination.
• Project Engineering and Time Schedule & Monitoring.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
